Are you an adventurous person who wants to experience a real life of people in Africa? See the old tribe traditions respected for generations and ask these people any questions about their lifestyle? Do you prefer avoiding tourist destinations? You are on the right page!
I have spent four years in Uganda. I have traveled around this country, reached hiden areas where people struggle for basic things. I spent amazing relaxing time in top resorts. During those years I met many people from different tribes, I have heard many stories from their lives. There were moments, that touched my heart, places where I left piece of my heart too. Karamojaland is one of them.
This place is not for everyone. Some people are happy to enjoy safe vacation in tourist destinations, take beautiful photography of wildlife and meet interesting people from around the world who want the same. And it is absolutely okay.
We wanted to offer something for those, who are not satisfied until they experience the real life and see behind the backstage. Karamojaland is magic. These people really live this way. It is not a pose for tourists, this is their every day reality.
With the fast modern world and new technologies, traditional lifestyle slowly dissapears. Soon there will be nothing left from the Africa we know from old travel books.
