Tour guide will pick you from the accommodation in Kampala/Entebbe. The drive to Murchison falls National Park takes 6 hours. Along the way you will stop for hot lunch at a famous highway restaurant. Next stop will be on the top of the falls in Murchison. After enjoying a spectacular view from the top, you will proceed to your lodge.
After the breakfast early in the morning you will start your game drive adventure. This park is endowed with 76 species of mammals including but not limited to giraffes, elephants, leopards, hyenas, lions, heart beasts, impalas, monkeys, baboons, hippos, buffaloes and many more.
You will have your pakced lunch and later on you will get on the afternoon boat tour heading to the lower part of the falls. A wide number of bird species are always spotted on this tour and Nile crocodiles sunbathing by the river. Other animals also come to the river to drink water around this time of the day which gives you an extra opportunity to see more of them. After reaching the falls you can choose to hike to the top where you will meet your tour guide with the vehicle to drive you back to the lodge or you can just go back with the boat.
This day is for driving back to Kampala/Entebbe. You will stop for a hot lunch on the way.
